Information for Hotel Reservations, Changes, and/or Cancellations

ASA, CSSA and SSSA had negotiated discounted hotel rates for attendees available through October 14, 2016. Reservations will now be made based on availability and hotels may charge higher rates. Housing is now closed through Orchid Event Solutions and all reservations, changes and cancellations will need to be made through the hotels directly (see contact information below).

When calling the hotel, please give the name and dates for the room you are calling about.

Housing Scam Alert

Orchid Event Solutions is the official housing provider for the 2016 International Annual Meetings in Phoenix, AZ.  They will not contact you unless they are following up on a housing request you have submitted.

If you are contacted by any other company claiming to offer special housing deals we strongly suggest not providing credit card information to them. If you have already made a housing reservation and it was not with Orchid Event Solutions, you are encouraged to cancel your reservation and rebook it through the Annual Meeting’s official housing provider. Your housing reservation is safe and secure when it is made with Orchid Event Solutions.


All reservations must be received by October 14, 2016, to guarantee availability and conference rates.  After this date, reservations will need to be made directly through the hotels and based on availability; hotels may charge higher rates. 


All reservation requests must be accompanied by a credit card guarantee or check equaling the amount of one night’s room and tax for each room reserved. 

Cancellations & Changes

Cancellations received after September 22, 2016 will be subject to a $40 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 72 hours of the arrival date will forfeit one night’s room plus tax charge.
