New! Internship Poster Session
Monday, October 23, 2017: 4:00 PM-6:00 PM
Undergraduates internships provide students with a great opportunity to become more familiar with industry, to network, and to understand what it takes to be successful in their potential career. With this in mind, the Advancing Agronomy via Public-Private Collaboration community invites undergraduates who participated in an internship in 2017 to develop a poster discussing the experiences they had during their internship and how these experiences have helped them with their future career choices. The general layout of a poster should include a title, author, a short overview of the company that provided the internship, a description of the internship, discussion of any special experiences during the internship such as visiting the corporate headquarters, what did you learn, and how has this experience is impacting your future goals along with three to six pictures documenting the experience. Poster size is the standard 44.5 by 44.5 inches.
The maximum number of entries for each club/university is four. There will be a first, second, and third cash prize of $350, $225, and $125.
Registration is now closed. Participants - watch for additional information from Brian Olsen, Presiding Leader. This poster session will be held near the SASES poster area.
