Getting Around Tampa

There are plenty of options to get around Downtown Tampa. Take a ride in an eco-friendly, open-air, electric vehicle offering door-to-door shuttle services. Hop aboard an Intown Trolley, a TECO Line Streetcar or grab a cab. There are even water taxis that traverse the river. 

The Downtowner is an app-based, complimentary, on-demand ride service that operates in Downtown Tampa seven days a week. The electric shuttles can carry up to five passengers. Get free, on-demand rides at the tap of a button by downloading the free mobile app. Just search Downtowner in your app store.  Hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 6am to 11pm; Saturdays and Sundays, 11am to 11pm.

The TECO Line Streetcar provides a transportation to historic Ybor City and Channelside Bay Plaza.  Stops every 20-30 minutes at each of the 11 stops- including the convention center and downtown dining, shopping and entertainment destinations.  Hours: Mon-Thurs 7:00am-10:30pm, Fri 7:00am-1:30am, Sat 11:00am-1:30am, and Sun 12noon-8:00pm. One-way fare of $2.50. 

Pirate Water Taxi a fleet of pirate themed water taxis in downtown Tampa. With over 14 stops conveniently located along the Riverwalk, Channel District and Davis Island. The three 50-foot water taxis can accommodate up to 40-50 passengers and will offer whimsical historical narration, and concessions. Fare is $18 per day.  Two-day pass, $25.  Hours: Sun-Sat 11:30am-10:30pm.
